Using Facebook Ads For Your Small Business

Are Facebook ads giving google adwords a run for their money?

If you are a small business owner you have probably realized that Google hates you. Harsh as that statement seems, it is a fact that  Google has been cracking down on the little guy,  making it almost impossible to do business on adwords.

Many adwords marketers have found their ads either downgraded to poor,  or just plan rejected asG oogle keeps changing the rules. In fact, over 15,000  adwords users were recently banned without warning.

To make matters worse, Google is making it more expensive for the average small business owner to bid on keywords. If they rate your ad as poor your bid rate will skyrocket. Yes you can try to play by their rules, but the rules keep changing.

There may be a way for you to tell Google to stick it and start using Facebook ads to market your business and products.

In fact, this is the only advertising system that Google actually fears and there is good reason for that.

Facebook ads are the most effective way to pinpoint your exact target markets.

Google adwords relies entirely on keywords to direct your ads to searchers. Even though it is highly targeted,  it still hits many people that are not in your target market.  Facebook ads allows you to use a multi -layered target marketing system that gives you the ability to literally pinpoint your exact target market.

Facebook ads use all the information in the members profile which allows you to only place ads to people you want to reach. This is mega powerful stuff my friends. Never in the history of marketing and advertising has there been anything this powerful!

Warning!! Before you set up your Facebook ads account and start marketing,  you need to understand some of the distinct differences from adwords.

Facebook is a membership site and people do not log in to buy things. When a person types in certain keywords into Google they are searching for something specific. In fact,  in many cases they are looking to buy something now.

Facebook advertising does not work that way. This is why multi layered target marketing is so important. Facebook will not allow you to run hyped up sales pitches that are in peoples faces. In fact, many newcomers to Facebook ads that bring this mentality have already been banned.

Here is the good part. By pinpointing your target market you can actually design ads that get inside a persons head because your message hits them right between the eyes. Asking a question in your headline is a powerful way to get your ad noticed.

Here is an example… suppose you are targeting people having a birthday. You can design your ads to show up on Facebook pages on the persons birthday and your Headline could read “Is Today Your Birthday?” or maybe a person with a ten year high school reunion coming up will read this Headline “Are You Ready For Your 10 Year Reunion?”

The best way to avoid being banned or losing your shirt on Facebook ads.
